BloggedAI ("we", "our", "us") operates the BloggedAI application and website (bloggedai.com). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.

Information We Collect

When you install the BloggedAI Shopify app, we collect:

• Store information: Your Shopify store domain, blog IDs, and store name — required to publish blog posts to your store.
• Authentication tokens: Shopify API access tokens — encrypted and stored securely. Used only to interact with your store on your behalf.
• Usage data: Keywords submitted for blog generation, blog generation history, and subscription status.

We do not collect customer data, payment information, or personal data from your store's customers.

How We Use Your Information

• Generate and publish blog posts to your Shopify store
• Track your subscription plan and usage limits
• Improve our blog generation quality and service
• Communicate with you about your account or service updates

Data Storage & Security

All data is stored on secure servers. Shopify access tokens are encrypted using Fernet symmetric encryption before storage. We use HTTPS for all data transmission. We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Shopify API: To read your blog settings and publish content to your store
• Anthropic (Claude AI): To generate blog content. Your store name and keywords are sent to generate content. No customer data is shared.
• DigitalOcean: Server hosting

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your app is installed. When you uninstall the BloggedAI app, we delete your access tokens within 48 hours. Blog generation history may be retained for up to 30 days for support purposes, then deleted.

GDPR & Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Request a copy of your data
• Request deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent at any time by uninstalling the app

Shopify App Permissions

BloggedAI requests the following Shopify permissions:

• read_content, write_content: To read your blog list and publish blog posts
• read_products: To allow product linking within generated blog content

Children's Privacy

BloggedAI is a business tool for Shopify store owners. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
